Kagera Co-operative Union (KCU) represents over 60,000 coffee farmers scattered throughout the Kagera region of northwest Tanzania. Each family only cultivates about 1.6 acres of land for food and other crops; they live in very basic housing, have limited (or no) access to education, health services, and clean water. KCU helps families improve their situations.
